Multi-Day Tours

The craft at the centre of ILE. Every multi-day journey we create begins from a blank page and is designed around one guest, one party, one set of dreams — never pulled from a shelf, never the same trip twice.

Our core craft

The Art of the Bespoke Journey

We don't sell Iceland. We compose it — one guest, one journey, one set of dreams at a time.

It begins with listening

Long before a hotel is held or a mile is mapped, we ask. Who is travelling, and why now? What stirs them — light, food, history, silence, adrenaline? How do they like to spend an unhurried morning? A journey is only ever as good as the listening behind it, and we treat that first conversation as the most important part of the work.

It's also where a true destination company earns its place. We aren't matching guests to a catalogue — we're learning them well enough to design something that could only ever be theirs.

Crafted around what moves you

From that conversation we build outward. The photographer is led to the light and given the time to wait for it. The food lover is taken to the table few visitors ever find. The family is handed the moments that make children's eyes go wide — and the parents a chance to breathe. The guests' interests sit at the centre, and Iceland is arranged around them — never the other way around.

Pace, season and occasion shape every choice: the order of the landscapes, the rhythm of each day, the balance of awe and ease. Two journeys to the same country, designed for two different people, will look nothing alike.

We aim to exceed, never merely meet

Meeting expectations, to us, is the floor — not the goal. Our craft lives in the unasked-for: the table quietly turned to catch the sunset, the detour to a waterfall with no one else at it, the chef's surprise course, the guide who remembers a passing remark and acts on it three days later.

We design for the moment a guest falls silent in front of something they didn't expect to feel — and then we try to give them another. The aim is never simply a good trip. It is a trip that outruns the imagination they arrived with.

Delivered, not just promised

Promises are easy in this industry; delivery is the rare part. Because we live here and operate everything ourselves, the journey on paper is the journey our guests actually live. We hold every thread, carry the operational risk, and stay a phone call away from first light to final farewell.

The result is the quiet kind of luxury — a trip that feels effortless precisely because so much care went into it. That is the ILE promise: to exceed the expectation a guest arrived with, and send them home with a story they'll still be telling years from now.

Built bespoke, every time

What We Shape Every Journey Around

The questions we ask before a single hotel is booked. The answers become the itinerary.

Their passions

Photography, food, history, wellness, adventure, art, the aurora — the journey is built around what truly moves your guests, not a fixed checklist of sights.

Their pace

Slow and immersive or full and far-reaching — we set the daily rhythm to suit them, with breathing room built in and nothing rushed for its own sake.

The season & light

Midnight sun, autumn colour, ice caves or aurora — each season opens different doors, and the itinerary is designed to make the most of the one they're travelling in.

The occasion

An anniversary, a milestone birthday, a once-in-a-lifetime family gathering — the journey is composed to honour the reason behind the trip.

Comfort & style

From the hotels and the vehicle to the pace of transfers and the level of guiding, every choice is matched to how your guests like to travel.

Privacy & access

Private guides, private estates, and doors that don't open to the public — discretion and access woven in wherever the journey calls for it.

Not a tour. A journey written for one.

Every day, every stay, every drive — composed by hand around the people travelling, and delivered by the team that designed it.

How we design it

From a Conversation to a Journey

A clear, collaborative process — with you and your guest involved at every turn.

1

Discovery

We listen first — the guests, the occasion, the interests, the pace, the must-haves and the budget. The richer the brief, the better the design.

2

Design

We draft the journey from a blank page — the route, the rhythm, the stays, the experiences and the access — composed around the individual.

3

Refine

We shape it together with you, adjusting until every day feels right. Accommodation is shown by category, never named, until confirmed.

4

Deliver

Everything is secured and choreographed, and an ILE team carries the operational risk — so the trip unfolds flawlessly on the ground.

The ILE standard

What Every Journey Includes

A full-service DMC means we hold the whole trip — so quality and flexibility are never left to chance.

Private guiding

Expert private guides chosen to fit the guests and the journey, drawn from our exclusive roster of more than thirty.

Accommodation to standard

Every night booked to ILE's standard and positioned along the route — with relationships that unlock amenities and flexibility a direct booking can't.

Seamless logistics

Transfers, vehicles, drivers and timings handled end to end, so each day flows into the next without a seam showing.

Curated experiences & access

Private dining, helicopter feasts, geothermal lagoons and doors that don't open to the public — confirmed in advance, placed at the right moment.

Airport & arrival care

Private transfers and a level of Keflavík arrival care found nowhere else in Iceland — the journey begins the moment they land.

One point of contact

A single ILE contact from first enquiry to final farewell, on call throughout, ready to flex the plan around the weather or a change of heart.

See it in practice

Sample Itineraries

Every journey is bespoke — but a few starting points help show the shape of what we design.

Three journeys to pitch from

In Agent Tools you'll find three sample multi-day itineraries — suggested skeletons, with accommodation shown by category, ready to tailor to your guest. For the full library, we draw on our TourWriter catalogue and shape any of them to the brief.

Internal review — remove before publish

  • New page (19 Jun) built at Dori's request to make bespoke multi-day design — ILE's core business — prominent in Services. Sample itineraries stay in Agent Tools (Selling Tools); this page links to them rather than duplicating.
  • Copy is Harry's draft from the established ILE brand voice — please read for tone and accuracy and adjust anything that isn't quite how you'd say it.
  • Images are reused from existing ILE web photos (Seljalandsfoss hero, Þingvellir + aurora banners, road-trip gallery). Swap for your preferred multi-day journey shots when ready.
  • Added to the Services nav on the Dashboard (top of group) + nav grid. Other portal pages' sidebars are hidden (full-width), so no change needed there; their footers already link to key pages.
  • Claims reused from approved copy: 30+ guides, Keflavík arrival care, private estates, full-service DMC carrying operational risk. No new business claims introduced.
